We teach traditional karate classes in Victoria, British Columbia with an emphasis on the art of karate-do, rather than competitive sport karate.

Welcome to Cedar Heart School of Karate-dō — traditional Wado karate classes in Victoria, BC. Our school offers respectful, engaging, and values-based instruction for children ages 6+ and adults. Here, students learn more than physical skills; they build confidence, discipline, focus, and character through the practice of karate-dō.

Whether you’re trying karate for the first time or returning to training, all are welcome to explore what this martial art has to offer in a supportive, group environment.

Our school is a member of the Wado Karate Association of Canada.
